Name, Fame and Money..In the Name of Lord..

Lenten Season 2012 is on...many people are busy with their fasting, church ceremonies, preparations etc., Many years back I don't know what is this "Lent"? But when I came more closer to Christ I understood what it is and What exactly it is for. I am not a born christian, a christian never have to. Whoever follows Christ Truly are True Christians. Underline and Understand this word Truly.

In life in many circumstances, with many people I underwent a similar situation or a similar discussion after I become a True Follower of Christ. Principles of Jesus won't suit current day's living.

Shamelessly a person in a presiding position of a Christian Organisation said this once to me, " I am a Catholic Christian, but still I have to give up his sayings at times and act as a complete businessman".

What I have to argue with such a person. I know his position is misused by him and others. Authoritative misuse. To win in life, to attain something called success as defined by the human society,  this strategy is maintained by  many Christians.

I know people those who go to church to maintain relationship with the society and become a status symbol, those who make money with church activities, those who indulge church business with their own business, community development, finding friends or peer members etc., All is good and a recognition like this is always required for human being living in a closed society. But if it is going to be only for name, fame and money, forgetting God himself, then I am not able to accept it.

I am sure that Presiding leader will mislead people under him, sit in the presiding chair, over stages, have bulk of money but if he don't follow what Christ have said, then what is the use?

Mathew 19:23-24 "Jesus said to his disciples "I assure you: It will be hard for a rich person to enter the kingdom of heaven!" Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.

If that is not what Jesus have said, then what that person said is ok. Then is he truly following Christ? Heavenly kingdom is not what we want out of this life, as promised by the savior. This individual is an example only. Many people are there calling themselves "True Christians", who are not abiding his words.

Living without shame, In the name of Lord, and saying it's God's gift. If a question is going to arise for a man's ill sake, even when he is so true to God, Bible have Job's Story also. All is at his will.

Is not the savior, born as a man? Didn't he suffered for us? If yes then how boldly people are committing mistakes and putting the blame on God and Devil.

Thousands of ministries making money in the name of Lord, thousands of clubs, youth clubs, organizations making money in the name of Lord, all doing service to few for name's sake. Calling charity is what God has ordered. How many are loving their neighbors as themselves? They can't because neighbor will betray them.
But if each one is thinking in the right way, then how comes the betrayal.

People becomes fake, but that when it becomes in the name of LORD, really that is hurting. But still I hold on with the savior's words "Forgive them, for they know not what they do"
