Christ in his truest sense...!!!

So lets make it clear. You are Christ's Follower or Christian Follower?

I was discussing with one of my young friend. I mean he is younger than me and with full of speculations and own opinions in his mind. I usually gather with such young fellows and have a discussion, because their nature of opening up their mind with their own questions. It is the concept of “Ask, You will answered”. When our mind opens up with whatever it have seeking the right answer, then the answer which is already there will reach us or in the right term, it will be known to us. In case I am not trying to say that I am providing them with answers, but it when triggers my inner self which always seeks with hell a lot of questions, then in one or other way I will also get answer. It is a mutual endeavor. The following is one such a discussion.

He: Anna, I am a born Christian, I used to go to church regularly, but stopped at one moment, I don't know why. It may be because I don't like the happenings there or else I feel something more beyond is there. But the people around me says that I am “sinning” by this activity. Is that a sin, anna? But I am a true christian follower.

Me: What are you trying to say? Lets make it clear once for all. Are you a Christian Follower or Christ's Follower. I think both differ in its own sense. Christianity is the name or term which has been given to the people who are said to be following Christ. I agree. But now the term refers clearly those who follows the methodologies, an organised structure formulated by the Higher Authoritarian Church, in the base of its dogmas and rituals etc.,

So lets make it clear. You are Christ's Follower or Christian Follower?

He: Make it more clear anna.

Me: Well. Lets say, if you are a Christ's True Follower, won't you follow what he said in its truest sense. I always use this term because it has truth in it. Let us take the example, have you ever wondered what did he mean't by “Seek, you will get”? Do you know what he actually mean't by the seeking? What he actually wanted us to seek? Have you ever given a single thought about it. Is it the answer for whatever we are seeking? No. It cannot be.

Another example. He said he bore witness for the truth. Have you ever wondered what “Truth” is and to what kind of Truth he bore witness. IF we take that example, lets go into the scenario where Jesus Christ as per the Bible is handed over to the Pontius Pilate, In one point of time, in person, Pilate asks Jesus “You say you bear witness to the Truth, so What is Truth?” Christ replied nothing. Claudia wife of Pilate, says to him “Truth is which no one can say to you, it is what you shall hear yourself”. Bible have these contents. Right. What an enlightening statement?

Have you ever sought to hear the “Truth” my friend. There are more like this what Christ have said, and we don't follow in the right terms.

You know, what we follow, is a set of principles, formulated by the church. We follow them. We follow rituals. We follow sacraments. We do confessions, we take the holy communion all as a part of life's routines. We repeat the same mistakes. When repeated do you think it is called the mistakes. We do it as part of duty. I think this is your problem. Everybody do it as duty, going to sunday masses, daily family prayers, indulging in church activities. Everything is having its own selfishness in it. And you don't like that isn't it.

But for a truest person like Jesus Christ, who called himself “Son of Man”, than calling himself son of God, and sacrificed himself for others, even without a least point of selfishness, these activities would be strange.

So now the question comes like is it right to follow the church or the christ himself. Isn't it?

He : Anna, you make the way clearer. Yes I actually thought of it. The rituals or the masses are acted upon mechanically without the true sense of it. I always felt something shallow in it.

Me: Yes it is. What good you are going to get in repeating the prayer what is pronounced by priest or somebody. Or how many people have understood the real meaning of the sacraments. Though we have lot of sunday schools, theological study centres, filthy youth clubs etc., we don't know the actual meaning of a kind of ritual. No one person can classify how many kind of rituals and ceremonies are there for this single individual process called “Following the Christ” which is the core of all.

There are hundreds of sects again in it. Divisions which accept christ in this form, which don't christ in that form. People who accept Idols of Christ in church and home ane people who don't accept except the cross. They are confused actually and again confusing others in terms of authority.

If someone tends to say this, the true self of Christ, which I have not said more, there is an addition in the bible which can be easily mis-interpreted, as it says “ In the end, there will be many arising as taking my words to you, like  sheep coated wolves, they are nothing but ANTI-CHRIST.

I wonder whether it is the actual gospel or to make somebody afraid of not doing one thing which Christ called as “Seeking Truth”. How if I say the true nature of Jesus Christ, I will become an anti christ. Because I follow him, truly in his truest sense.

He: Anna. It is the power of them, who have money and authority. We cannot raise voice against them.

Me: I don't want to. Perhaps. I actually seek in my own way. I feel pity for the people who follow that as just traditions. It will do no good to them. But still they are happy. But I worry because they knowingly or unknowingly deceive God in turn deceive themselves. Is it the one thing Christ wanted? Doesn't he said everything comes out of his Father? Be true to him.

There is this one group or several groups which make monetary benefit from poor, I mean mentally ignorant and innocent. Would they agree If I say a part in Bible when Jesus asked a rich man to give all his riches to poor and just follow him empty handed  and then the kingdom of heaven will be his. Is it not the misuse of power and authority?

I don't want to hurt, if you don't mind. A pope's robe may cost hundreds a thousands of bucks in money. But what did Jesus wore that day? Will that be a relevant question? Who is of authority here?

A priest is recognized with his robes. But how was Jesus Christ recognized. Only when one among his disciples kissed and betrayed him. Doesn't that mean he lived one among them, the people.

But in this world of fools who don't seek the “Truth” in its truest sense, I don't want to raise my voice. I am content that I follow Christ in his Truest Sense. I tend to find true meaning for each and every word he uttered during his preachings. I always don't bother whether I go to church and do it. I go to church, sometimes I don't. I still talk with the “Truth”, seeking it as himself. And ever forever would it be a sin?
