Actually life starts with Self Realization...

 “Realizing Actually That I have to Learn about Me, and I flow with the Flow of Life without any strong Resistance” is actual self-realization (notice the word realization) and that could be called illumination, salvation or enlightenment anything we name it.

I was having a talk with my Senior Colleague while we were travelling in an auto rickshaw to Krishnamurti Foundation of India, Chennai. At one point of time, in the discussion, he just expressed, he is in the process of knowing himself. That quest is lifelong and ends when he realizes himself. He also expressed that the fact is he is not able to study and understand himself.

I was thinking about it and replied,” Sir, If that is your actual quest and if you have inquired properly into yourself, you would have studied yourself and illumination or self realization or enlightenment would have taken place”.

He disagreed,” If we know ourselves, that would be the end of life, because nothing else will be there. Then if we understand ourselves how there will be chance of conflicts, problems and everything that is utter stupidity in life. It will not happen for anybody at any point of time in his life”.

I stopped the talk by saying,” It’s not like that but something else”, didn’t shared what I wanted to share, but planned to share to everyone.

To understand the world is very easy, that it is so chaotic, full of conflicts, interpersonal conflicts, international conflicts, as we are divisive, so fragmented as J. Krishnamurti says, this fragmentation is the sole cause of all problems. So in all ways it is easy to understand others, the people around us. But then also it is not 100% understanding because the world starts with “Me”. Realization and understanding of “Me” is very important but psychologically it is a tough process merged with interrogation and experiences etc.,

To go more deeply Knowledge of the self is needed to learn and to trash the knowledge into the dust bin so that I will be having my very own brand new “Me” ready for learning. Learning is life long process, I agree, but at the same time, a tipping point of this understanding, not knowing me, because knowledge is accumulation of past experiences in life, “Realizing Actually That I have to Learn about Me, and I flow with the Flow of Life without any strong Resistance” is actual self-realization (notice the word realization) and that could be called illumination, salvation or enlightenment anything we name it.

When this happens to an individual, he stops seeking, he starts living with the facts. And he realizes that the actual facts of life is “Yes there is a chaos in the society and I too contribute something for it. I have to correct myself for it. There can be conflicts and problems among personal relationships, social relationships etc., Yes I understand it. I understand this fragmentation too is caused by “Me”. So the actual fact is with this self realization I understand that I have to be with this facts, live with them. So it is not an end it is only new beginning”

This is what J. Krishnamurti expresses as “observer is the observed” and life starts with this self realization of learning himself and that he is enlightened with this total choiceless awareness.
